AUGEN - Australasian Universities Geoscience Educators Network
The Australasian Universities Geoscience Educators Network was first formed in 2012.
We have members across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
The AUGEN team support excellence in geoscience education and support geoscience teaching at all levels of the education system.
We are bound by our Values statement and our Code of Conduct.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which we each work and live and the ongoing connection to the land of many peoples.
Who we are
Why AUGEN? Geoscience is everywhere, it’s the planet we live on, the landscapes around us, our history, our resource pool. Learning about our Earth is a fundamental science. Geoscience knowledge is key to our energy future, our climate future and resources we need to live (such as water, soil, metals and building materials)
